By providing continuing education in the operations of their business, state of the art trade information, legislative issues concerning our businesses and industry, and a networking resources not found anywhere else, the Florida PDCA benefits the industry in a multitude of ways.

Associate Membership:

Florida Council Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) are 100+ contractor members strong, and growing. Our associate members represent nearly every segment of the coatings industry, as well as many other critical business services. From accounting to Attorneys, from insurance to inspection services, we have associate members that offer Many of the products and services our contractor members use everyday. Often, when a contractor member is seeking the expertise of a vendor, their first call will be to their chapter contact, and to Florida Council office, asking for an associate referral, in the area of expertise they may need. Contractor members make every attempt to patronize companies that support their industry association. Contractor members realize how associate members contribute enormously to the overall success of the PDCA association. Many associates are active within chapters, assisting and filling positions on committees, and take a lead role in planning events. A few examples of associate involvement are: golf tournaments, "Giving Back to the Community" charity work, and our annual state convention. Associate members are often asked to take an active role in local chapter meetings, giving a presentation on a product, as well as participating in roundtable discussions in the areas concerning their expertise. There are numerous networking opportunities available to associate members at the chapter and council level in PDCA.
