This Association is organized to promote the interests of contractors who are engaged in the industry of Painting,Decorating, and Drywall in the state of Florida. This Association will maintain an active role in monitoring statewide legislative and regulatory issues that impact the business operations of it membership. Our ultimate goal is to enrich the business climate for our members and to project a professional image of the Painting , Decorating, Drywall contracting industry in Florida.

PDCA History

Founded in 1884, the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America is the oldest trade association representing professional decorating and painting contractors. PDCA's Mission is to lead the industry by providing quality products, programs, services, and opportunities essential to the success of its members.

PDCA members are committed to leading the coatings industry to the highest levels of performance and professionalism. All members of the PDCA are required to abide by the nationally accepted PDCA Code of Ethics

Are you using the PDCA logo for marketing?

The "Member-Of" logo is now a registered trademark. The next time you update your marketing materials please be sure to use the latest version of the logo. Companies can access the logo in .pg and .eps formats. Visit the members-only section of PDCA.org to get the latest version. After logging in select the "Marketing Resources link."

Add your knowledge to PDCA's Industry Standards.

The PDCA Standards committee is beginning work on a new standard, "Suggested Protocol of Job Closeout of Painting and Decorating Projects". Do you have a knowledge and understanding of this topic? Are you interested in shaping the standard to define this aspect of your industry? PDCA Announces Member Referral Program.

Historically, the most reliable method of increasing membership in PDCA has been word-of-mouth through you, the member. In order to encourage the ongoing connection between current and future members of the Association, PDCA is launching the "Membership Stimulus Package". As an existing member you will receive a certificate worth $125 toward your next membership renewal if your company refers a new member to PDCA on or before December 31st 2009.
